The Irish landscape has the highest concentration of Neolithic and Megalithic sites in the world.
Ancient monuments and earth-works embedded into the landscape serve as captivating reminder of humans’ reverance to the land. These celebratory landscapes evoke a strong sense of harmony with natural environment and attach sacrality to land - kept alive to this day through generational storytelling. From UNESCO tourist attraction to cow-grazed ruin, a two-week research project sought to re-engage these sites through mapping and walking.
