Ingleborough, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park is A Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). Its distinct geology and geography, uniquely position it somewhere between the picturesque and the otherworldly.

Weightless Traces is a performative walking project and ephemeral survey of this land. Enacted by a group of hikers equipped with airborne flotations, a journey in which the relationship between the human and environment is amplified through collective movement. Venturing off the trodden path, each step, each gust of wind redefines the travellers connection to the terrain. Stationary moments become time stamps that look to reframe negative space, altering sense of scale, perspective, and perception.
